about me

career bio

I started my career at Prince’s Golf Club where I held the position of Head Assistant Professional for over four years. After completing the P.G.A. diploma with merited honours I became a full time golf instructor.
My mobile coaching business was successfully run for over eight years, offering bespoke tuition to clients homes, businesses and schools.
After that, I took the position of Head Teaching Professional at Walmer & Kingsdown Golf Club. One of my many roles in this position was recruiting adults and juniors into golf. After three years, I had created a thriving junior and adult academies and had introduced multiple new members to the club.
My latest position is at Canterbury Golf Club as the Head Recruitment Coach. Since starting my new role I have completed the CoGMT (Certificate of Golf Management Theory) with the P.G.A. I have been putting this qualification to good use by co-managing the Driving Range. I am also in the process of gaining the Advanced P.G.A. Coaching Diploma. I have maintained AA status with the P.G.A which means I am constently updating my knowledge in golf club related subjects. Following the success of coaching at many local schools and sports clubs, I am now running multiple academies at Canterbury Golf Club. Due to these prosperous academies Kent Golf has recruited me as a County Coach. This gives me the opportunity to run a Kent Golf Academy, giving my pupils a clear pathway from beginner to county level. All County Coaches meet annually with the National Coaches to see how they teach at the highest amateur level. This helps the coaches collaborate their skills as well as retaining a clear vision for their pupils.
